 I first knew Ron when he was a priest at Mangere with a deep commitment to social ideals. Then he married and moved to Riwaka.Whenever I was in Golden Bay I would call to see him and enjoy some of his wonderful dried apple or other organic produce. When he was in Auckland he would call down to Karaka Bay. In our own ways we pursued the idealism of a simple life and a simple architecture. |
