Boats were winched up for maintenance.
The grass was long and the living was easy. The new pretentious, selfish, affluent breed of neighbours had not yet arrived so nobody thought to complain about anything. In the seventies there was a wonderful eccentric community at Karaka Bay. Real people just getting on with life.
