 Toichi raced me around Tokyo in his yellow VW beetle. We parked on footpaths or half way up hoardings as we explored Tadeo Ando emerging out of scaffolding and other architectural gems. Time has dimmed the memory of the buildings, but Toichi's passionate love of life is unforgetable. |
