In 1922 Butlers Garage opened for business on the Great South Road, Papatoetoe.

 

 

 

 

"I'd say this was 1936. Has to be after 1934 when Super Shell was introduced (sign above canopy). Possibly around 1936 when Texaco began changing to Caltex (fourth pump from right) Probably before 1937 after which the brand Big Tree was phased out (second pump from right)."
