Students will be students

The sparks from the bonfire drifted into the night and the flickering flames reflected in the dingies on the beach. What made this bonfire particularly good was not having to do all the work myself.

Walking away down the beach to find driftwood was not a chore I particularly enjoyed. The students however mucked in and found all the firewood to toss on the flames. When you usually end up doing everything yourself it is possible to have no time out to just enjoy the occasion. This night it was all different. I could just relax. Marshmallows were toasted on the last of the embers and slowly everyone drifted away.

In the morning I went out to embrace the beauty of the dawn.

The entire front fence was missing.
