The annual Deans Lecture at the Auckland Medical School presents an opportunity to show how changing our way of thinking can redefine intellectual investigation.

 

 

 

 

On 15 July 1970 Dean Cecil Lewis invited Tony to show his film “The Planning Triangle” to the medical students, gathered in the Large Chemistry Theatre, and to talk about the planning process.

 

In medicine the herd mentality applies generalized assumptions to unique individuals. In a perfect world medicine would recognize that every individual is different.
